2024 Presidential Primary Election is Coming Soon!

Election Day Information
The Presidential Primary Election is on Tuesday, February 27! Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM, and the Clerk’s Office at City Hall will be open the same hours for election business only. If you plan to register to vote on Election Day or during the two weeks prior, you’ll need to bring proof of residency.

The City redrew its boundaries and all residents received new voter IDs with their polling location. Residents who voted at Angell School now vote at the Community Center and residents who voted at City Hall now vote at Rogers Elementary.

Avoid the Lines on Election Day!
All residents are eligible to vote via absentee ballot or at the City or County's Early Voting Center. If you have an absentee ballot, please fill it out and return it to the Clerk's Office at your earliest convenience. If you would like an absentee ballot for the Feb. 27 Presidential Primary, please click here for the application or contact the Clerk's Office! 

Early voting for the Presidential Primary Election will be open until Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Oak Park Community Center, 14300 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, MI 48237. Residents may also vote at the Oakland County Central Early Voting Site, located at Waterford Oaks Activity Center, 2800 Watkins Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328. The hours for both locations are 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, and noon to 8 PM on Thursdays. 

Early Voting Close of Polls Tabulation takes place at 8 PM on February 27, at the Oak Park Community Center and regionally at the Oakland County Elections Division (1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Dept. 417, Pontiac, MI).
