Marihuana in Berkley

Background Information
In December 2019, the City Council of the City of Berkley officially adopted marihuana business operational ordinances. Through these ordinances, a licensing regulatory framework was established and the permitted use was added to various zoning districts around the community. The adopted ordinances are included below.

Applications must be submitted to the Community Development Department in person, and will only be accepted between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM

March 06, 2020: Marihuana Developers Informational Meeting
March 16, 2020: Marihuana Business License Submissions Open
March 30, 2020: Marihuana Business License Submissions Close
June 28, 2020: Deadline for Staff to release Merit System Scores
