PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE: Chipper Service Runs Due to the Storm

Due to the storms, Public Works (DPW) is running the chipper route without the need for residents to call in or sign-up.

All items placed out for the chipper must meet the guidelines for pickup. Items that do not meet the guidelines can be placed in a yard waste bag and taken to SOCRRA or you can hold onto them until curbside yard waste pickup begins again.

Guidelines:
The chipper service will ONLY accept branches OVER 4' in length & OVER 2" in diameter. For the safety of our workers, smaller branches must go into a yard waste bag or marked can.

  • Friendly Reminder: Please be sure to have your branches all facing the same way instead of a loose pile.
