Fire Hydrant Flow Test Alert

At 9 AM on May 3, DPW will be flow-testing six fire hydrants on Catalpa in preparation for a new complex being built for the school district. A flow test is used to determine the available water supply in the water main. 

Businesses and residents in the surrounding area of Coolidge Hwy, Catalpa, Dorothea, and Franklin may experience discolored water as the hydrants are tested. If that happens, run the water until it clears, making sure that you run cold water in your basement sink rather than warm. Thank you for your patience!
