Coolidge Highway from 11 Mile to 12 Mile Will See Lane Shifts and Traffic Delays During Pavement Repairs

Starting Tuesday, May 23, Coolidge Highway from 11 Mile to 12 Mile roads will see intermittent lane shifts and traffic delays while City of Berkley contractors perform pavement repairs.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists are asked to use caution when traveling through the area and be prepared for delays. To ensure the safety of road workers and travelers, drivers are encouraged to slow down in construction zones, follow all posted signs and be alert.

Access to driveways may be temporarily restricted for short periods while the pavement repair product is being placed or cooling.

The maintenance work is expected to be completed by the afternoon of Friday, May 26, with Coolidge Highway reopening as normal by the evening rush hour.
