Berkley Parks and Recreation Kicks off Its Master Plan Process

Berkley, MI – July 14, 2020 – The City of Berkley’s Parks and Recreation Department has kicked off its recreational master plan process and is inviting the community to participate in their master plan survey.

We are encouraging residents and those representing all facets of the Berkley community to share their thoughts and ideas, as well as, help us better understand the recreational needs of the community. The public can provide feedback by going to www.tinyurl.com/BerkleyParksSurvey.The survey will remain open for responses until Friday, August 14, 2020. If you would like a hard copy of the survey, they will be available upon request. All responses are completely confidential.

The results of this survey will be used to inform the recommendations on how parks, trails, and recreational services are developed in the 2021 - 2025 Recreation Plan.

Additionally, the City and Carlisle Wortman & Associates will be hosting a virtual town hall to hear from the community on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 6 PM via Zoom. Be sure to follow the Parks & Recreation Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BerkleyParksandRec for more details.
