Berkley Snow Emergency Declared Starting This Evening

Due to the anticipated heavy snowfall coming this evening and Saturday morning, the City of Berkley has decided to declare a snow emergency to begin late Friday evening (10 PM) to Saturday, January 18.

According to the National Weather Service, four or more inches of snow are expected and other hazardous conditions such as freezing rain and icy conditions are expected. Additionally with it being Friday, please be sure to take your garbage cans in so they do not get buried with snow.

With a snow emergency, parking is not permitted on the streets or public parking lots until the snow emergency has been lifted. This will allow for our DPW to clear the roads quickly and efficiently.

We will notify the public when the snow emergency has been lifted.
