Pet Licenses

All dogs and cats must be licensed beginning at 4 months of age; proof of vaccination for rabies is required. One, two, or three-year licenses are available and may not be issued beyond the expiration of the rabies vaccination. Licenses may be renewed either in person or by mail at the City Clerk’s Office, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

New Date! Our next annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Berkley Fire Station. A licensed veterinarian from Oakland County will be available to provide a rabies vaccination. A license may be issued at the same time for Berkley residents.
