CDBG Award: City of Berkley, MI
Our Building Department’s principal function is to administer the City’s development laws and policies. The Building Department is composed of:
- Building
- Code Enforcement
- Planning
Our staff works with residents and businesses on building expansions and improvements. We also work hard to change policies and laws so that new developments will be more desirable and easier to accomplish.
We work with a number of appointed boards, comprised of residents, such as the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
We are here to help you through the City approval process.
