Backwater Valve Permit Fee Reimbursement Request Deadline Extended to February 28, 2018

Residents may be eligible to receive reimbursement of permit fees  when they install backwater valves in their homes.  The reimbursement is for the permit fees only and permits  must be obtained before the work begins. 

Permit fees shall be reimbursed after the work has been inspected and approved by city’s inspector(s) no later than June 30, 2018. Reimbursement requests for permit fees should be submitted after the work is approved by the appropriate city inspector.

Reimbursements will be processed within 60 days after receipt of completed forms. Payments will be issued to the current property owner of record, according to the City’s property tax roll.
