Fall Tree Planting Program

As you walk through the neighborhoods and admire Berkley’s tree-lined streets, you’d never guess what is lurking underneath the lush greenery. So many of Berkley’s trees are beautiful on the outside but hidden from the hollow silver maplenaked eye is a hollow trunk, or other disease. These types of trees are often removed as a preventative measure.

To ensure that Berkley’s future includes tree-lined, canopied streets, the Tree Board is conducting its annual Fall Tree Planting program – a great way to replace the number of trees that have been lost and maintain the unique beauty that is Berkley.
