City of Berkley Declares Snow Emergency starting WEDNESDAY, FEB. 26 at 2 AM

Due to the anticipated heavy snowfall, the City of Berkley has decided to declare a snow emergency to begin early Wednesday morning starting at 2 AM.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy snowfall is expected and other hazardous conditions such as freezing rain and icy conditions.

With a snow emergency, parking is not permitted on the streets or public parking lots until the snow emergency has been lifted. This will allow for our DPW to clear the roads quickly and efficiently.

You can learn more about our snow emergency ordinance by going to www.berkleymich.org/cityordinances.

We will notify the public when the snow emergency has been lifted.

UPDATE: The Snow Emergency has been lifted as of Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 830 AM.
