Steve Baker was elected to City Council in November 2009. He and his wife Nicole have lived in Berkley for well over a baker's dozen years. Steve is an IT director for DTE Energy, where he plays a key role in corporate and technology governance, policy and procedure oversight, and budget management. Steve holds a bachelors of science degree in computer science and masters of science in software engineering from Oakland University. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Computing Professional (CCP), and also a published author, conference speaker, and Six-Sigma Black Belt candidate.

Jack Blanchard was appointed to the City Council in December 2011. He and his wife Barbara have lived in the city since 1978. Their two sons graduated from Berkley High and now have two grandchildren who attend Berkley Schools. Jack received a Bachelors of Science degree from Southern Illinois University. He retired from the United States Army Reserve in 1995 after serving 30 years. Jack also retired from General Motors Powertrain Engineering. He currently works as a consultant with Captains Three Marine Services on diesel engines and as a GM Fleet Product Specialist. Jack has been active in the following organizations:

Alan H. Kideckel was elected to City Council in November 2011. He and his late wife Andrea purchased their first home in Berkley over 20 years ago. Alan holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Political Science from Wayne State University. Alan has had his Life, Health and Disability Insurance license since 1984. He is self employed. Alan has been an active member of the following organizations:

Lisa Platt Auensen was elected to City Council in November 2009. A native of Oakland County, she and her husband Eric purchased their Berkley bungalow in January 2002, shortly after getting married. She is committed to supporting local businesses and frequents local establishments. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she majored in architecture and graphic design. She worked for the Detroit Regional Chamber for nearly nine years before becoming the Interactive Director at Skidmore Studio, a Royal Oak creative firm. Lisa is an active member of the following organizations:

Eileen Steadman has been a Berkley resident since 1976. She is the mother of four daughters, who are all graduates of Berkley High School. Eileen received her Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University and her Master's degree from Oakland University. She is a Special Education teacher in Royal Oak and runs a parent-toddler program for children age birth to three with mild to moderate delays. Eileen was first elected to City Council in 1997 and was elected to her second four year term in 2001. In November 2005 Eileen was appointed to fill a vacancy on the City Council. In the November 2007 election Eileen was re-elected to a four-year term on the City Council. Eileen has been an active member of the following organizations:

Dan Terbrack is a third generation Berkley resident, elected to the City Council in 2007. In 2009, he was appointed Mayor Pro Tem. Dan holds a Bachelor's Degree in secondary education and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. Dan taught in both public and private schools for 6 years before becoming principal at Our Lady of La Salette School and Academy in Berkley. Dan has been a Berkley resident his entire life, and in 2004 bought a home in Berkley with his wife, Jacqueline. Dan and Jacqueline have two young daughters, Addison and Emma. Dan has been an active member in the following groups and organizations:
